Recently, we received a request to find and review children’s backpack suitable for backpacking adventures.  A couple things that we kept in mind  during our search was cost, functionality, and similarities to an adult backpack. The problem with a children backpack is outgrowing the backpack in several years, leaving the backpack with minimal use.

Gregory Baltoro Backpack Review

The Gregory Baltoro is one of the heavier backpacks available on the market at 6lbs, but makes up for its weight in extreme comfort. When I purchased this pack, I was on the search for a backpack that could handle weights over 50lbs comfortably for longer trips in the backcountry.  Not only will it this back carry the weight, it will last the test of time. My wife has owned her Gregory Deva, which has a similar design and has lasted over 10 years with no signs of major wear.

  • Pros and Cons
  • Minimum – 500 word review
  • Video Preferred:  video content maybe edited by Hikers Review. Videos can submitted via personal YouTube links, DropBox links, email attachment, etc.
  • Photo: Must include one high resolution photo of the product in the field (i.e. Backyard, park, trails, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Email Subject Line: Trip Review Submission: “Trip Name”
  • Name/Author (Pen Name/Trail Name)
  • Video Optional:  video content maybe edited by Hikers Review. Videos can submitted via personal YouTube links, DropBox links, email attachment, etc.
  • Minimum – 500 word review and 1 photo
  • Trip Highlights
  • Location and Date of Trip
